Korakrit Arunanondchai combines music, video, painting, and performance in his ongoing explorations of cultural hybridity, technology, spirituality, and local mythologies. Stylistically, his films embrace the allures of music videos: They combine otherworldly visuals (some of which are shot via drone), quick cuts, and pulsing soundtracks. They take inspiration from the artist’s family and friends, contemporary issues in America and Thailand, and the supernatural.
